Про локацію
The first open-air village museum in Transcarpathia, located in Kolochava: more than two dozen authentic and reconstructed 19th–20th-century buildings that show the everyday life of Hutsuls, Boykos, Lemkos, Hungarians, Romanians, Germans, Jews, Czechs and Slovaks. Visitors can enter a 1930s–40s smithy, a weaver's cottage, shepherd's and carpenter's houses, a Hungarian gendarmerie post, a three-section village school with an open-air classroom and a Jewish homestead with a synagogue. In spring the grounds are covered with Heuffel's crocuses, and the museum hosts a crocus festival and a potato-dish festival. The ticket also covers the narrow-gauge railway and the UPA bunker, and guided tours run every hour.
