Інформація
Про локацію
A museum devoted to the Czech writer Ivan Olbracht, who visited Kolochava many times in the 1930s and described village life and the story of the outlaw Mykola Shuhai in his novel 'Nikola Šuhaj the Robber'. Thanks to this book, its film adaptations and the school curriculum, Kolochava became legendary for Czechs, who still travel here as pilgrims. The exhibition tells about the writer, his ties with the village and Shuhai, the last outlaw of the Carpathians. The museum is on Shevchenka Street and is an important stop for anyone interested in Czech-Ukrainian cultural links.
